How do our Dancehall classes in Barcelona work?
In our Dancehall classes in Barcelona we generally teach a choreographed sequence, but in practice Dancehall is an improvised dance. Each session lasts 1 hour and includes: Warm-up (body preparation with specific exercises), Choreography (dynamic sequences combining traditional and modern steps), and Improvisation (creativity work to take your dancing to an informal, expressive level with personality).
Can I start from scratch if I've never danced Dancehall?
Of course. Students who have never danced before choose beginner level courses and those with some dance experience choose basic level. Our classes are designed so anyone can keep up from day one.
What if I don't have good coordination?
Don't worry, coordination develops with practice. Our teachers will guide you step by step and the atmosphere is very welcoming. What's important is being consistent and enjoying the process.
What do I need to bring to Dancehall classes in Barcelona?
Comfortable, lightweight clothing that allows you to move freely, clean sneakers for exclusive indoor use, towel and water, because you'll dance intensely and need to stay hydrated.

Beginners: To start from scratch, learn step by step in a good atmosphere. Basic: For those with some experience in Dancehall or other urban dances. Intermediate: To improve technique, coordination, and musicality with more complex steps. Advanced: To take your level to the max and consolidate your style.
Can I join anytime during the year?
Yes. You can start whenever you want. Check our calendar to see upcoming available classes. If you have doubts about level or group, write us and we'll guide you.
Do you have any special discounts?
Yes. We offer discounts if you sign up for more than one course. Check the website or ask us directly for more details.
Can I try a Dancehall class before enrolling?
Depending on the season, the welcome class for residents may be free or have a special welcome price. The idea is that you can try the experience without commitment. Book your spot by clicking the "Discover How to Start" button at the top of this page.
What if I miss a class due to work or commitments?
If you have a membership and cancel a class, you have 30 days to make it up from the cancelled class date. If you have an hours package, you manage your classes flexibly: cancel and book another day within the expiration period. All management is done exclusively through the academy's digital app.
If I miss a class, do I have to make it up doing the same style or can I do a different one?
You can make it up doing the same class another day or select another style, as long as you respect the class level and manage the makeup through the school's app.
Do you organize special events or workshops?
Yes. We organize workshops, masterclasses, and social events throughout the year. Follow us on social media or check the website to stay updated.
Are classes only for women or also for men?
Our classes are open to everyone, regardless of gender or previous experience. Dancehall is for everyone.
