Hip Hop Classes in Barcelona
Freestyle, Battles and Real Culture
Learn authentic Hip Hop with a national reference. Breaking, locking, popping, freestyle and all the flow from the original urban culture of the 70s.
What is Hip Hop and why will it transform you?
Hip Hop is much more than a dance: it's a culture, a form of expression and an attitude towards life that was born in the Bronx of New York in the 70s.
Hip hop dance includes a wide variety of styles, especially breakdance, locking and popping, which were developed by African Americans and Latinos. What differentiates hip hop dance from other types of dance is freestyle and battles — competitions held in a "cipher", a circle that naturally forms when the battle begins.
The three elements — freestyle, battles and ciphers — are the essential components of authentic hip hop dance.
At Farray's Center you will learn Hip Hop with Marcos Martínez, judge of international competitions and one of the references of Hip Hop in Spain. With more than 30 years of global existence, Hip Hop is part of the professional dance training curriculum endorsed by CID-UNESCO.
