Cuban Reggaeton in Barcelona

Authentic Reparto & Cubatón

Learn to dance the authentic reggaeton from the streets of Cuba. Not the commercial one, the real deal.

What is Cuban Reggaeton and why is it different?

Cuban Reggaeton, also known as Cubatón or Reparto, is the authentic reggaeton that was born and evolved in the streets of Cuba.

Unlike the commercial reggaeton you see in music videos, Cuban reggaeton is characterized by improvisation, extreme body dissociation, and a rawer, street style. It's not just following a choreography: it's feeling the music and letting your body respond.

"In Cuba, we don't dance to impress. We dance to feel. And that's what we teach here."

You'll learn to dissociate every part of your body, improvise with the music, and develop your own style. Because Cuban reggaeton isn't copied: it's lived.

Frequently Asked Questions about Cuban Reparto in Barcelona

What's the difference between Cuban Reggaeton and commercial reggaeton?

Cuban Reggaeton (also called Reparto or Cubatón) is rawer, street-style, and focused on improvisation. Commercial reggaeton tends to be more choreographed and polished. In our classes, you learn the authentic one, the one danced in the streets of Cuba.

Do I need previous experience for Cuban Reggaeton classes?

No. We have levels from beginner to advanced. The important thing is to come willing to let your body go and enjoy.

What exactly is "Reparto"?

Reparto is a Cuban reggaeton style that comes from the neighborhoods (repartos) of Havana. It's characterized by more exaggerated movements, improvisation, and a direct connection with the dembow.

Are classes only choreography or also improvisation?

Our classes combine both: you learn choreography to develop technique, but we also work on improvisation so you can dance freely in any situation.

What is body dissociation and why is it important?

Body dissociation is the ability to move different parts of the body independently (hips one way, chest another). It's fundamental in Cuban reggaeton and we work on it in every class.

Are Cuban Reggaeton classes only for women?

No. Cuban reggaeton is danced by both men and women in Cuba. Our classes are mixed and open to everyone.

What should I wear to classes?

Comfortable clothes that allow movement. Pants that don't restrict your hips, t-shirt, and sneakers. Bring water because you'll sweat.

What if I miss a class due to work or commitments?

If you have a membership and cancel a class, you have 30 days to make it up from the date of the canceled class. If you have an hour package, you manage your classes flexibly: cancel and book another day within the expiration period. All management is done exclusively through the academy's digital app.

Do you organize special Cuban Reggaeton events or workshops?

Yes. We organize masterclasses with invited Cuban artists, showcases, and our annual gala where you can shine on a professional stage.

Can I try a class before enrolling?

Depending on the season, the welcome class for residents may be free or have a special welcome price. The idea is that you can try the experience without commitment. Book your spot by clicking the "Discover How to Start" button at the top of this page.

How many calories are burned in a Cuban Reggaeton class?

If I miss a class, do I have to make it up with the same style or can I do a different one?

What's the difference between Cubatón, Reparto, and Cuban Reggaeton?
